パフィオペディラム--特にグリーン--に約30年ぶりに興味が出て来て購入。 原種なのと、安いのと、暑さ寒さに強く丈夫で良く増えるそうなのでこの種類を選ぶ。 実際半年育てていて問題無く育っている。 購入当時家に蘭の花が無く、 もうすぐ実家を暫く留守にする前に蘭の花を見たかったので、 花が付いていて嬉しかった。

I got interest in Paphiopedilum, especially green flowered, again and I bought one. The reasons why I chose the orchid are that I am interested in species (as well as hybrids), that it was affordable and that it is vigorous and grows well under hot and cold weather. In fact, it has been growing for half a year with few problems. I was glad to get the orchid with bloom since there were no orchids blooming then (Jan. 2010) and I wanted to see orchid flowers before I left home for a few months.
